Selection of the Search Committee

For this cycle of faculty hiring, each search committee must have as one of the members the diversity liaison from the department/unit (those departments/units who do not have one already, should identify one). The search committee membership and the name of the diversity liaison must be submitted through a designated google form that will be emailed to the chair/unit leader, along with the job position description.

Please note, that the in case of multiple searches within the same department, each search can have a its own diversity liaison, different from the main departmental diversity liaison.

We will work with the diversity liaisons to ensure that your committees include members with different perspectives and expertise, and a demonstrated commitment to the values of inclusiveness and representation. Diversity liaisons will also be crucial in committee training.
