Preparing the job position description

All academic job descriptions should be approved by the Chief Diversity Officer prior to posting to ensure that there are no biases in the language of the position description/job postings. The new automated process has been developed in the Office of the Provost for 2022-23 hiring cycle, and each chair/unit leader will receive an email from the Provost Faculty Affairs asking to submit the job description through a designated google form. The position decription will then be automatically sent to the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer who will review the position description within 2 business days and share the recommendations with the chair.
