SERVICES
bar

The Stony Brook University libraries offer a wide range of services to assist you in your research and studies.

Reference services include walk-in assistance, as well as telephone, email, and chat lines.

The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service will locate the material at another library and obtain it for you at no charge, if the library does not own what you need.

Main/ Southampton/ Manhattan Inter-Campus Delivery is a service for students, faculty and staff to request circulating items like books and DVDs from Southampton & main campus branches.

In addition to circulating material (and sending out overdue notices), the Circulation Department maintains the collection of reserve materials selected by faculty for their courses.

To help users learn more about the libraries and their collections, and to improve their library research skills, Instructional Services offers a wide range of programs such as tours (including a self-guided tape tour) and class lectures.

You can also review a full list of services offered by the library. For inquiries, call 631.632.7100
