John Gassner New Play Festival

Submissions are now being accepted for the 7th annual John Gassner New Play Festival.

The JGNPF encourages the development of new American plays through its annual playwriting contest. The contest seeks plays of any length that are both relevant and intrinsically theatrical.

Submission guidelines

The playwriting contest is open to American playwrights in all 50 States. The play submission period has already begun for our 2008 contest. The deadline for submissions is Friday, August 15th, 2008. Plays will not be returned.
