A native Long Islander, Frank has spanned the theatre as an Actor, Director and Stage Manager, reveling in all of them. Creatively, he has worked at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, with Shakesperience Productions and Macy's Herald Square, and on film projects for Blind Dog Entertainment.
For the last nine summers, Frank has performed/directed at the Sterling Renaissance Festival under the guidance of Improvisation/Interactive Theatre guru Gary Izzo ('The Art of Play') and served as Entertainment Coordinator this past season.
As a director, recent projects have included adaptations of Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Chekhov’s The Bear. At SBU, he has helmed six productions, including Eric Bogosian's subUrbia, and original stagings of John Gassner New Play Festival Winners Ephemera & Saving Grace. Frank is also the recipient of the Impresario & John Gassner Awards at SBU and the Departmental Award at NCC for Excellence and Dedication to their theatre program.
As the departments' "utility infielder", Frank has had the pleasure of teaching courses in Acting, Improvisation, Play Analysis, Understanding Theatre, and Performing & Performance, and also serves as the faculty advisor for the undergraduate club, Pocket Theatre.
