Internet Connectivity Conditions and Needs in the Hauppauge Industrial Park
CSR,
in conjunction with the Hauppauge Industrial Association and the NYS
Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology at Stony
Brook, conducted a comprehensive assessment of connectivity
requirements in the Hauppauge Industrial Park region. Interviews were
conducted with executive officers of 363 companies in order to develop
a Park-wide profile of the internet connectivity needs and future
requirements. The study was conducted in several phases over 2004-2005.

Stony Brook “Computer Corner” Survey
This
survey evaluated the faculty and staff computer purchases on and off
campus in order to assess the buying habits and needs of the Campus
Community. The study was conducted in the Spring of 2003 for the
Faculty and Student Association of Stony Brook University.

Survey of Bioscience Companies - Current and Future Workforce Needs
CSR
conducted interviews with Chief Executive Officers of 211 companies
engaged in the bioscience industry on Long Island. The purpose of the
study was to evaluate the current and future workforce needs of the
biotechnology/bioscience industry. The study was conducted in the
Spring of 2000 for the Stony Brook University Center for Biotechnology.
