ASK A LIBRARIAN

1. E-mail a Librarian. Ask your questions via e-mail.

Available: anytime. We try to respond within 24 hours (Mon.-Fri).

2. Chat with a Librarian. Ask questions in real live chat and get an immediate response

Available: Mon - Friday, 9am - 5pm, except holidays
Open to Stony Brook University students, faculty or staff only!

3. Call a Librarian. Call the Reference Department 631.632.7110

Available: Check the library hours schedule to find out when you can call.

4. Visit a Reference Desk. A professional Librarian can answer your questions at the Reference Desk of the Central Reading Room, Melville (Main) Library

Available: Mon - Thur. 8:30am - 9 pm, Sat. 12pm-4pm, Sun 2pm-6pm
