Beatriz "Bea" Solla Vilas wins the 2024 President's Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching!

Bea is currently a fourth-year Ph.D candidate in Hispanic Languages and Literature, specializing in contemporary Latin American trans self-narrative. Originally from the coastal region of Galicia, Spain, Bea is passionate about education, and they view teaching as a powerful tool to help others understand and engage thoughtfully with the world around them.
