By Automobile
Take the Long Island Expressway (Route 495) to exit 62N; follow Nicolls Road (Route 97) north for nine miles.

By Rail
Take the Long Island Rail Road’s Port Jefferson (631-231-LIRR) line to Stony Brook. Cross tracks for campus bus.

By Bus
Call Suffolk County Transit (631-852-5200) for schedules, rates, and routes for buses to campus from many local towns.

By Air
Land at Kennedy or LaGuardia Airport, 50 miles west of campus, or at Long Island MacArthur Airport (631-467-3210), ten miles south of campus. All airports offer limousine and taxi service to campus. From Kennedy Airport, take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station and transfer to the LIRR for the train to Stony Brook.

Ferry Connection
Connecticut car ferries run from Bridgeport to Port Jefferson (631-473-0286) and from New London to Orient Point (631-323-2525); call for schedules and information.

If you are driving, please enter the Campus through the Main Entrance on Nicolls Road (Route 97). (See campus map.)

At the guard booth, make a left and head toward the Administration Parking Garage, which will be ahead on your left. Park in the garage; then follow the signage to the Charles B. Wang Center.
